The company, founded in 1979, pioneered the integration of information technology (IT) into the building industry proving to be a precursor in its field.

Master Engineer Herbert Hetzel founded BauConsult with the intention of making it a leading name in computer-aided engineering and project development.

A milestone in BauConsult’s growth was its participation in the development of the University of Vienna’s School of Veterinary Medicine, which led to the expansion of its project management team as well as a venture into architectural design.

BauConsult’s strength in identifying and handling traditionally gray areas in architectural services,
project management and client services, is its most outstanding quality. This quality leads to projects being effectively managed from conception to completion.

BauConsult currently employs a staff of 32 in two locations and is headed by Master Engineer Herbert Hetzel and Master Engineer Juergen Pinter.
